We’ve just launched our debut ad for Anchor Butter, which celebrates the diversity of brilliant food found in Britain today and brings to life Anchor’s new brand positioning, ‘Butter the food. Butter the mood’.

With a nod to the brand’s warm, sunshine-filled heritage, the campaign leads with a high-octane 30” TVC, where interesting characters from the community gather in a local café to share great food and good times. Anchor Butter is the star of each mouth-watering dish, from never-ending buttered baguettes to a tower of golden pancakes flying through the roof. 

The ‘Don’t Scratch My Soca’ track adds to the feel-good vibes in the café, instantly lifting viewers moods with its irresistible energy.

Directed by the hugely talented Joseph Mann at Blinkink productions, the film showcases a range of techniques, boasting a mix of in-camera puppetry, stop-frame and CG animation.

The new campaign also introduces a striking new look and feel for Anchor in print, OOH and below-the-line channels – bringing playfulness to the world of food photography, by mixing together bright colours and visual puns in ways that tickle the funny bone as well as the taste buds.
