A WEEK OF WINS AT ENGINE
An outsider would’ve thought we’d begun our festive celebrations early if they’d visited ENGINE this week. With two ceremonies this week and big wins at both we’ve been rejoicing early.
On Wednesday night we attended the Drum Advertising Awards and our cinema ad for Women’s Aid picked up a win for ‘Best TV/Cinema Commercial’ (with our GoodBagels campaign for Warburtons being Highly Commended) and ‘Public Sector’.
The following night, we headed off to The Shots Awards – where the awards kept coming.
Women’s Aid won in ‘Best Charity Campaign of the Year’ and Women’s Aid director, David Dearlove won ‘Best New Director’ – racking his total up to 20 wins this year.
Spider – a Royal Marines mini horror, designed to appeal to only those with the right ‘state of mind’ – also picked up a win for ‘Best TV Commercial Up To and Inc. 60s’.
